BBBS Outing

'Lil and I went to Artistic Beads for our outing today to make some jewelry, something neither one of us had done before. It was a great activity for us, where we could sit and talk while doing a fun project at the same time.

There was so much to choose from - what type of jewelry (necklace, bracelet, earrings...), then what kind (elastic, memory, clasp...), and finally what you're going to put on your piece.

We each decided on an elastic bracelet. We thought it would be fun to do similar ones, so we each did colored beads with letter blocks of our initials. 'Lil picked white and blue for her colors and I went with yellow and green.



sidenote: the picture was taken from my phone, and believe it or not, it's the first time I sent a picture from my phone! It feels good to take another step into the 21st century :)
