In the elevator this morning:
Guy: Man, it didn't take long for it to get cold
Me: Yeah, it's only going to get worse
As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I immediately regretted it. "Yeah, it's only going to get worse?? Easy Negative Nancy" I think was my exact thought. As he got off on floor 3 and I continued my ride up to 5, I was thinking about what the better response would've been. If I could go back and redo that conversation it would go something like this:
Guy: Man, it didn't take long for it to get cold
Me: I know, but it is going to get back up into the 60's this weekend!
